ARE YOU OUR NEXT FLORAL STYLIST? 🕊️

We are looking for a contemporary, event-obsessed creative to join the First Sunday Events team as a key support to our Head Floral Designer.

Forget the conventional. We specialise in high-concept, fashion-led styling that prioritises structural integrity and contemporary aesthetics over standard wedding tropes. We don’t do "traditional" - we create elevated, editorial atmospheres for the modern romantic.

The Role: This is a hands-on, casual position acting as the primary creative right-hand to our Head Floral Designer (that’s me!). You’ll be instrumental in executing our signature looks on-site, helping to curate entire environments from the ground up.

The Future: While we are starting on a casual basis for the upcoming season, we are looking for a long-term collaborator. For the right candidate, there is a genuine path to transition into a permanent role as the company continues to expand.

We’re looking for:
✨ Extensive event experience: You know the pace and pressure of a high-end install.
✨ A fashion-forward eye: A mastery of the basics, but a passion for the avant-garde (strictly no round posies here!).
✨ Draping expertise: Experience with fabric and large-scale styling is highly regarded (but not a deal-breaker).
✨ Technical skill: You’re comfortable on a ladder and confident with architectural floral mechanics.

The Timeline: We are gearing up for a massive season starting this September. However, we have several upcoming projects in April and May - the perfect opportunity for some "trial" dates to see how we vibe as a creative duo.
